HERS - New choreographic work

Hers draws on narratives of women from diverse social, generational and cultural backgrounds. Their experiences intertwine, forming a polyphonic field of experiences.
The choreographic work uses the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as its starting point, threading through it via personal narratives. Within these, rights shift from the institutional and abstract into lived experience - where they are confronted in everyday life and inscribed on the body.
Through subtle, often unseen moments of the familiar, Hers traces the female experience in the contemporary urban environment, where silent tensions, social pressures and gendered expectations surface.
