Feminist Approaches to Choreographic Practice

I have been awarded Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) funding from Arts Council England to undertake a year of research in London, exploring feminist approaches to choreographic practice.

The research will explore different ways of developing work with creative teams and collaborators, considering how the creative process shapes both the experience of working together and the texture and form of the work itself.

My current research asks what might emerge if feminism shaped not only what choreography addresses, but how it is created.
