Artist Residency at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm

Frankfurt, October - November 2022

Following my participation in the Solocoreografico – International Solo Dance Festival Frankfurt 2021, where my piece ιντεκάλ انتقال received the Special Jury Award, Tanzplattform Rhein-Main invited me to take part in a one-month residency at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt. During the residency, I continued the research, development, and presentation of the solo work, which is inspired by my Syrian descent. In parallel, I had the opportunity to attend the artistic programme of Tanzfestival Rhein-Main and to engage with the Frankfurt and Rhine-Main dance scene. The residency was also supported by the Goethe-Institut, which awarded a scholarship.
